Doggy - Animal Collective

Tuning: Standard

G                    Bm
Dog of height in the trees
                G
Won't you come down doggy
Such a sweet doggy
  C
I brought you your dinner
          Bm               Am        G
My doggy i miss you kissing from my palm
 C                 Bm    Am      G
I remember when i first got you doggy

        D             G
But you lay there so still doggy
  D
You lay there
   G
So still

Dog who fell to the ground
Twisted your neck doggy
Don't look right doggy
The bet came with sutures
He said Dave
Hay the doctor cannot save you dog

But I remember when I first got you dog

You lay there so still dog
You lay there so still

Dog of depth in the dirt
They buried you deep doggy
You're the best doggy
My friend has a doggy
She's real nice dog
I wish you could chase her round my yard

I remember when I first got you dog

But you lay there so still doggy
You lay there so still

Such a sweet doggy…

Tuning: C# F# C# F# A# D#

Cause this is a weirder tuning, it's a lot harder to write out the chords, so i decided to number them and you just gotta follow
 those numbers. Also cause there's more than one guitar on the album, it's hard to really pick out who's playing what, but this
 one covers them both nicely.

Pretty accurate..

0 = x-0-0-0-0-0-
0* = x-2-0-0-0-0-
0+ = x-4-0-0-0-0-
1 = 4-4-4-4-3-0-
2 = x-5-5-5-5-5-
3 = x-4-4-4-3-0-
4 = x-2-2-2-1-0-
5 = 0-2-4-2-3-0-
6 = 0-2-4-4-3-2-

i prefer this one from the same thread. only chords i think need fixing are the 200020 and 400040 in the beginning, and 232242 sounds

like it is off by a note. use a capo so you don't break your strings.

tuning: F A C F C F

i do think this is the right tuning, at least for the breezeblock sessions. the only thing is, they don't use tuners so the notes

aren't exactly F, A, C, etc. It is actually about a 1/4 step above each note. So if you have a tuner, i'd set your 440Hz (standard A)

to about 455Hz, and then you can just tune to F, A, C, etc. that should make sense.

Doggy

Again the chord names here are just guesses. I'm pretty certain of this whole thing exact for some of the sliding parts ("dog of depth in the"), since

really only the roots of those notes matter.

strum an open F (000000, duh) for a while, then it goes to this:

F--0--0--0--0-(0)

C--0--2--4--2-(0)

F--0--0--0--0-(0)

C--0--0--0--0-(0)

A--0--0--0--0-(0)

F--0--2--4--2-(0)

dog that fell to the...

Csus2 - 232242

ground

F--0-0-0--0-0-

C--2-2-2--0-0-

F--0-0-0--0-0-

C--0-0-0--0-0-

A--0-0-0--0-0-

F--0-0-0--0-0-

twisted your neck doggie, don't look...

just play along on with those two chords but lifting and pressing with one finger on the B string (actually high C string in this case. confusing yea)

Bb - 555555

the bet came with...

F--5-4--2-4--2-0-0

C--5-4--2-4--2-0-0

F--5-4--2-4--2-0-0

C--5-4--2-4--2-0-0

A--5-5--3-5--3-0-0

F--5-4--2-4--2-0-0

hey the doctor cannot save your dog

F--5--5--5--5--5--5---4--5-----0-

C--7--7--7--5--5--5---4--5-----0-

F--5--5--5--5--5--5---4--5-----0-

C--5--5--5--5--5--5---4--5-----0-

A--5--5--5--5--5--5---5--5-----0-

F--5--5--5--5--5--5---4--5-----0-

but i remember when i first met you doggie

Csus2 - 232242

and you lay there

F - 000000

so still dog

do that last bit a few times then just strum an open F - 000000

If you want you can post this in notepad or anything with Courier New font, and it should line up right, but it looks pretty decent now too.

enjoy.
