Street Flash is in B Minor which makes it easy to play in standard since all open strings are in key.
The chords for most of the song starting with the intro are:
Bm E A A
with one bar each.
the next group of chords i am more unsure about, but i believe it may be some sort of
A D D(with pinkie on 5th fret of d string) Bm
but it is all tenative. |
I don't think it's Bm. I think it's more a Bm7. I did a cover of it (it's in another thread somewhere) and I worked it out to be something like
x
0
2
4
0
x
OR
x
0
2
4
5
x (or 5)
Not sure what those chords are but they sound right to me and the top one sounds nicer to me. Every chance I'm wrong though.

I was dicking around trying to learn some police song a few months back when I found a pretty satisfying way to play street flash that I thought I'd contribute:
Tuning - EADF#BE
E---0---0---0
B---0---0---2
F#--0---2---3
D---0---2---2
A---0---2---0
E---0---0---x
then the later part I just play
B-----5--7--10--3
F#----3--5--8---3
though I could be wrong on that. I usually use pretty heavy squarewave tremolo to cop the sound, maybe delay works better for you?
